How To Join a Quiz or Lesson

Read on to learn how to join a Quiz or a Lesson on Wayground for Business.

If you haven't already signed up on the Wayground for Business platform:

1. Go to wayground.com/pro/join
2. In the input bar, enter the join code shared by your instructor or host
3. Click on 'Join now'
   • You will be directed to the sign-up page

4. Sign up using your Google account or by entering your official email address

5. Select the 'Work' account type

6. Fill in your user details. This includes your

   • first name,

   • last name, and

   • password

7. Click on 'Sign up'

You will now enter the Quiz or Lesson lobby to join the quiz.

For users registered on the Wayground for Business platform:

1. Go to wayground.com/pro/join and log in to your Wayground for Business account
2. In the input bar of your home page, enter the join code shared by your instructor or host. Then, click on 'Join now'
   1. If your instructor has assigned you the activity using your email address, you will be able to see it on your home page. If not, you can always use the join code to participate in the activity

You will now enter the Quiz or Lesson lobby to join the quiz.

Once you enter the Quiz or Lesson lobby:

1. You can
   1. Click on the circular arrow icon () placed next to your name to pick from three randomly Wayground-generated names (for both Quizzes and Lessons)
   2. Enable or disable Read Aloud to activate the text-to-speech functionality, which will read text aloud (for Quizzes)
   3. Enable or disable Sound Effects and Music during the game (for Quizzes)
2. Once you have customized your desired settings, click on the green 'Start' button to start the quiz or lesson
