How To Join a Course

To join a Course on Wayground for Business, make sure that you are logged in to the platform. To learn how to sign up to the Wayground for Business platform, please go through this article: Create a Wayground for Business Account

To join a Course, follow these steps:

1. Go to wayground.com/pro/join and log in to your Wayground for Business account
2. In the input bar of your home page, enter the join code shared by your instructor or host. Then, click on 'Join now'
   1. If your instructor has assigned you the Course using your email address, you will be able to see it on yourhome page under the 'Assigned Activities' section. If not, you can always use the join code to participate in the Course

You will now enter the Course dashboard.

Once you enter the Course dashboard:

1. You will see all the activities (quizzes, lessons, or both) that are part of the Course
2. Click on the 'Start now' button placed next to an activity
3. On reaching the activity lobby, you can
   1. Click on the circular arrow icon () placed next to your name to pick from three randomly Wayground-generated names (for both Quizzes and Lessons)
   2. Enable or disable Read Aloud to activate the text-to-speech functionality, which will read text aloud (for Quizzes)
   3. Enable or disable Sound Effects (for Quizzes)
4. Once you have customized your desired settings, click on the green 'Start' button to start the activity

As you complete an activity from the Course, you will be directed to the Course lobby, where the next activities to complete the Course will be displayed. Simply click on the 'Start' button next to the activity to begin.

Once you complete all the activities in the Course, you will be directed to the Course dashboard. From there, you will see the option to re-attempt the activities. Click on the 'Re-attempt' button to do so.
